"No more monkeys jumping in the bath!"

Sam's famous for goofing off in the bathtub & having absolutely no fear, but after last night...maybe he will think twice before jumping in the tub again! All the kids were in the bath together & kept jumping around & were being really crazy. Len & I both kept getting after them & even took Mack out. Sam & Noah started up again after a few minutes & poor Sammy got a lesson the hard way! We rushed him to urgent care & he received 5 stitches & has a pretty good shiner. Luckily, he's still happy Sam & the doctor was amazed at how relaxed he was through the whole procedure. He had his legs crossed like he was lounging at the pool & Len read him a story until it was over. I hope our 2nd experience with stitches is our last...hmmmm probably not!

Idaho

The kids & I left Wednesday to visit my aunts & cousins in Idaho for a few days before Len's triathlon. We had so much fun! We did all kids stuff, so the kids had a blast & the adults were worn out! Here are some of the highlights...
We went to a fun water park in Rexburg Thursday

It's cute when this happens if you're 3 years old!

Friday we visited Tautphaus Zoo in Idaho Falls, then we went to lunch at a fun place that has a climbing gym for the kids. Kelcee, her friend & I pigged out on pizza, salad & cold soda while the kids ran themselves ragged! We had to drag them out for a nap (I'm pretty sure I slept while the kids goofed off around me & never slept!) Then we watched "Penelope" after the kids finally dropped that night. It was so fun we didn't want to leave, but I'm sure Kelcee & Todd were grateful to have peace & quiet back in their house :)

Saturday morning we took off early, heading toward Burley to watch Len & his brothers & a brother-in-law compete in the "Spudman" Triathlon! We barely made it in time to watch Len cross the finish line :) Phewww- it was a crazy mass of athletes, but it was very exciting & we were so glad we made it in time. Noah made Daddy some posters to show his support!

Len, Joe & Steve- the 3 brothers! They all did great & we are so proud of them! Whoohoo!

It's the simple things...

A good concert with good friends is one of the simple joys in life! This pic is of the stage at "The Police" reunion concert last night. It was sooooooooooooo amazing! Those old guys can seriously rock! It was a blast to hang out with our good friends, who also surprised us with the tickets after we backed out due to "unexpected expenses" (aka: we found out we were pregnant & were freaking out!) So nice!

Earlier that day... the kids were enjoying one of their simple pleasures in life. A carboard box that the baby's bookshelf came in! Whoo hoo!

Just a quick update to tell you that our ultrasound yesterday was great!
Our baby girl was all caught up :) Yeah! We were a little worried, so it was a real relief.

Flashback!

This is a picture from when Len & I were dating! I came over one day & found him in the backyard pool with our nephews, Brock & Taylor, who were 4 at the time. They are now 16!!! Ahhh! Time really flies! I always thought it was so cute to watch Len with his nephews & neices, and I knew he'd be a good daddy someday!

This is Len this afternoon doing the same thing with our kids!
I was right- he's a super fun & good Daddy!
They sing "Yellow Submarine" in the car all the time too.
It's their favorite song!

Mackie before he got freeeeeeezin' & went inside!

Cool Sam just chillin' in the pool!

Noah shivering with purple lips!

A new post finally!

Our camera broke at least a month ago & I have been DYING to get a new one & update our blog!!! We finally got a new one & I snapped a few quick pics. I didn't want this picture to be first, but I guess I loaded them backward! Oh, well- I hate pics of me, but it's fun to look back on your pregnancy & see how BIG you get!!! I feel big, but I actually measured small this last appointment. Hopefully she's just a petite girl & everything's fine. She looks perfect on the ultrasound & we think she will be! She's a real kicker, but I love feeling her so much! We've already started working on her nursery because the room was empty. It's been so fun recovering chairs from trucks to flowers & thinking pink! The boys are into it too- Noah always picks out girl clothes whenever we're shopping & says "our baby would love this" & all the boys go "ohhhh, cute!" It's hilarious! We are all getting excited to meet her (she needs a name!)

This is Sam & my cousin Katie's little girl, Addison, watching 4th of July fireworks. It was so cute because Sam was Addie's shadow all night! We had a fun party at my Aunt Denise's & earlier that day a bbq at Len's parents. Len's brother Joe & his family were in town from San Diego too. We got to meet their new baby & catch up with them. It was so fun- the kids loved every minute of it!

This is Mack, aka "little bono" watching our U2 Elevation Live from Boston DVD & playing his guitar along with the music!!! It's his new favorite thing to do with Daddy. He's always had a hard time staying still whenever music is playing, so we're trying to encourage his natural musical inclination! He's really got rhythm! He comes home from his summer school preschool & church nursery singing songs too. It's so cute! :) Len sees a future rock star & I see a future Juliard graduate! Haha! Mack's such a funny kid- we just can't get enough of his bigger than life personality!

This was the first picture I took with our new camera just to try it out & I kept it because I think Noah looks like his cousin Jackson! Noah's so cute & has such a sweet personality! The other day all the kids were showing me their muscles after lunch & Noah said "Wow- Sam & Mack really are getting muscles like me. Now everyone in our family has big muscles..except you Mom!" He was serious too! He's in summer school 1/2 day & begs to stay all day because the all day kids bring lunch boxes & have 2 recesses! So, we bought him a lunch box & pack an after school snack in it! He has to keep busy all the time- he is a non stop action kid! He can't wait for 1st grade to start!

Finally, Sam the ham! He is also officially potty trained now too! Yeah! He's so stubborn that he just wouldn't do it until he really wanted it. School was the trick for him. He loves school & started going potty everytime since the 1st day of school. He tells me everyday "I'm growing up Mom!" & he's right! It's fun to watch them grow up, but I'm going to miss these days when they're gone too.
