Noah couldn't wait to try out his new snowboard! I think Len has successfully converted Noah over to snowboarding. He's even using words like "shredding" now! He's not a ski bum anymore! He wants to "tear up" the mountain every chance he gets now!

Wow- it's over!

Phewwww! We had such a fun Christmas :) I'm not really as crazy as I may seem by posting on Christmas night! As luck wouldn't have it, carwash payroll landed on Christmas night. I'm actually waiting for my Dad to finish up a few things so I can continue working. I'm exhausted & if I had my way, I'd be in bed already (8:00 p.m.)! Everything leading up to Christmas was so fun- seeing old friends at parties, shopping for the perfect gift, etc...but now I'm ready for a few days of doing nothing, other than playing with the kids & putting away all the new stuff- slowly. At this moment I can't believe that we are having a New Year's Eve party, but hopefully it will sound do-able again in a week!
Noah said he got everything he wanted & more (very true). His favorite thing that Santa brought was his own snowboard. He also can't wait to go to his first Utah Jazz game tomorrow. Sam & Mack were just excited to see new toys that they didn't realize were coming to them! Mack's favorite was an electric train & Sam's was a ride-on ATV. They were so cute & excited. It was fun watching the kids. My favorite was a new pair of croc's lines with fleece :) Len's was, of course, his new TV. We were equally excited to see how our family liked the things we picked out for them & talk to family far away. We really love our family and friends and are greatful for a day to celebrate the birth of Christ. Noah made a list of "gifts" that he could give to Jesus this year at church & wrapped it in a little box with a bow. On the way home he asked "how am I going to get this all the way to heaven?" I guess he missed the point a little, but it was so cute! It was a good Christmas.

We wish you a Merry Christmas!
Sledding, visiting Santa, putting up lights, the tree & decorations...we couldn't wait to get started this year! Having kids has made me feel as excited about Christmas as I did when I was a kid myself!
Sledding & visiting Santa have been the kids highlights so far. Noah has literally asked us everyday since September "when is it going to SNOW"? He is so excited that it finally looks like winter around here. Len built a big sledding track for them in the back yard by shoveling snow & packing it down from the top of our fence, down the retaining wall & onto the grass! It's awesome! They are having a blast!
Noah couldn't wait to tell Santa that he changed his mind about one of his gifts, but Sam & Mack were terrified & wouldn't go near him....until he offered them candy canes & as you can see it worked! They love Santa now! We can't wait for Christmas :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Noah & Sam "helping me" make pies. All the boys sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner.
We decided to stay home this year, rather than go to Idaho with the rest of my family. It was a tough decision because we LOVE seeing my family in Idaho, but Sam & Mack aren't fun to travel with yet! We have been so busy, it just sounded nice to stay home & relax. We went to see "Mr. Magorium's Magic Emporium" last night (very good) & all day today Noah & Len went skiing. Noah's been asking to go skiing long before there was any snow, so he was in heaven! The little guy's & I stayed home & cooked. It wasn't bad since we have a small family. We had fun together today & I have "Survivor" & a 2 hour "Grey's Anatomy" to look forward to tonight!!! Yeah! We got to talk to my family on the phone in Idaho & we're having Thanksgiving dinner with Len's family tomorrow. It's been a great day & we are very thankful for our great family & friends. We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too. Noah's really excited to add his skiing video to the blog, so here it is... enjoy!

First stitches
Mack cut his foot tonight playing in Len's old truck (which we waited to park in back until we thought it was to cold for the kids to play out there again- but it's freakishly warm for this time of year still!) We thought he was jumping with his brothers & cousins, but he slipped away & Len found him crying & bleeding all over the place. He has a big gash right underneath his toe & got 5 stitches. He was super brave & even made the doctor laugh because he was wiggling, but not from being scared or in pain- it was because he was dancing to the music that was playing!!!! Funny kid! Earlier this week he was in the doctor for a burn on his finger... I hope they don't turn us in! These are the first 2 major injuries we've had with our kids & both of them happend this week to Mack! I think it's him!I had to put one of Sam in too, just because he's so cute & funny! He LOVES dressing up in weird clothes lately. He comes up with pretty funny combinations!

Cute boy!
Noah's first school picture. He looks so cute in his uniform & slicked down hair! He insists on wearing his hair like this "because that's how Peter Parker wears his hair!" As you can see from the other picture, it must have worked! I think he's becoming spiderman! His brothers are also into superheroes, but they prefer to fly naked with hooded towels on their heads! They yell "superman" as they run down the hall! We think they look darling, but will probably not be publishing photos!

Getting started

Halloween costumes
My friends have been BUGGING me (haha) about starting a blog for awhile, so here I go!
We had a fun halloween this year, but I have to admit that all the candy freaked me out for the first time this year. I realized half way through treak-or-treating that our kids are all old enough for me to not go home & just throw most of it away...they're going to remember tomorrow that there are buckets of candy in the cupboard! Ahhhh! Noah was the "black spiderman"- NOT VENOM (he was sure to correct everyone)! Sam & Mack were their favorite Thomas the train characters. Len & I were M&M's for the family halloween party, but I dressed as an angel at school since the preschoolers can't read yet & wouldn't think M&M's are very exciting!
