Boys vs. Girls

I know it's coming.... Bella's almost 8 months & within a month or two of moving around if she's anything like the boys!

Maybe it will be different, because she's a girl? We'll see!

My Dad & I when I was 7 months (groooooovy stache huh?!)
I was walking by 9 1/2 months according to my parents.

I would include Len too, but only God knows when he walked! He was #6 of 8 all born within 10 years. Need I say more? His first known picture was the one the school took in Kindergarten!

Sam & Mack at 8 months. Sam EASILY pulled himself up & walked at 9 months (don't you love the drool!).

As you can see from Mack's grip- he's barely hanging on! He just had to keep up with Sam, but it was a struggle. He was also walking around by 10 months though.



Noah at 9 months pushing himself around on his car. He was pushing it while standing up within a week of getting it & walking on his own by 10 1/2 months.

NOBODY crawled.

I've heard this is a major developmental step that was missed. I've tried to put Bella on her tummy as much as possible, so as not to miss this step. She seems to have the same genes (wonder why?) as the boys & just wants to be in an upright position though. I'm afraid we're in for it again with another early walker. She's not pulling herself up though...that's a good sign.

I told Len he better get a gate up soon, just in case.
